Having completed college and successfully passing the CPA exam in Indiana, Jim Shook moved to Oregon in 1981, where he became a part of a prominent local CPA firm. In 1994, driven by a philosophy of focusing on meaningful client connections, he founded his own firm, James L. Shook CPA, and built a devoted client base through his focus on relationships and industry expertise. In 2023, Jim merged his firm with Iron Creek Tax & Consulting, assuming the role of Principal, and furthering his dedication to providing exceptional service and support to clients.
